Hello again, culinary explorers! Chef Winnie here, and today, I’m going to introduce you to an exciting fusion of flavors – the Riz Casimir Katsu, a delightful amalgamation of Swiss and Japanese cuisine.
Our Riz Casimir Katsu pays homage to the world’s most beloved menu – the Japanese Curry Katsu. But in true BLISS style, we’ve added our own twist, creating a hybrid dish that brings together the best of two worlds.
At the heart of the dish is a creamy curry – a nod to the Japanese version of this classic, we eschew fruit and opt instead for a medley of vegetables, resulting in a hearty and delectable sauce that pairs perfectly with the Katsu.
The Katsu itself is a work of art – tender pork, lightly pounded and coated in Japanese Panko breadcrumbs, then fried to perfection. The result? A crispy exterior giving way to a tender, flavorful interior.
Accompanying this masterpiece is Philippine rice, sourced from our local region. Each grain carries the taste of our land, and serves as the perfect base to the rich curry and succulent Katsu.
